Deputy Manager - Balham

This warm and welcoming Nursery in Balham is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to work closely with the Manager and contribute to the ongoing success of the Nursery.

The Deputy Manager will be required to assist in the administration of the Nursery - from managing the budget and finance, to recruiting and retaining Nursery staff and welcoming new parents into the setting, as well as working with the staff within the rooms - motivating and training staff where required as well as being a role model for all staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader or Deputy Manager to take a position within a Nursery that allows for excellent career progression into the future.

Your responsibilities as a Deputy Manager will include:

To maintain and promote high standards of care To effectively lead and motivate the staff team including recruitment and retention To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times To work in partnership with the parents

You will need the following training and experience:

An NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3, or equivalent qualification Knowledge of the EYFS Knowledge of OFSTED standards Excellent communication skills Strong people management skills All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
