Job Description
Our client, a specialist engineering consultancy are seeking a Tunnel Design Engineer to strengthen their existing team.
This consultancy is well known for its particular skill and focus on tunnel, geotechnical and civil design. They are currently the lead engineers on a number of the UK\'s most prestigious commissions and are also involved in a number of international projects.
In this position you will be a key design engineer in terms of tunnels and will supervise some technicians/less experienced engineers in order to complete your projects.
The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject such as civil engineering. It is also hoped that you will be a chartered member of a professional institute or at least looking to progress towards receiving this recognition.
Your past experience should involve some work in the field of tunnel design, preferably for some major projects.
Good rates and long term contracts are on offer to suitably qualified individuals.
