Full Description:

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• The candidate applying must be competent working with children who have special educational needs on a daily basis
• To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in the nursery
• To work in partnership with the parents
• To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
• To work closely alongside SENCO co-ordinators
• Must be able to commit to long term assignments

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – Desirable but not essential
• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent - Desirable but not essential
• SENCO trained- Desirable but not essential
• Must have experience working with children who have special educational needs.
